Tests and Code and Mock'n'Roll

Over the last couple of decades developers have gone from saying that testing is somebody else's problem to testing all the things. But in doing so, they hit the next level wall: If we're talking about unit testing, does that mean we mock all the things? Or should we be integration testing all the things instead?
